One of my favorite pieces of clothing to wear right now is a long cardigan duster. They can be worn with so many things, so you’re adding a great staple piece to your wardrobe.
We’ve been in the process of decluttering our home and organizing in preparation of baby H, so that goes for our closets too. It’s been all about quality over quantity and how often we’ll wear something/ can it be made into several outfits. If the answer is no, then we’re getting rid of it OR if it’s something we’re looking at buying, we’ll just save it for later or toss the idea all together.
Dusters have been something I know I’ll wear a lot and differently with different pieces, because they just bring an outfit together and make your look streamlined with the elongated profile of the cardigan. It also serves as a blanket if you get cold ha!
This particular duster is from Agnes and Dora. It’s a company very similar to LulaRoe. They have pop up parties, and you buy the pieces from other women instead of in a store. I ALWAYS like that. If it’s my friend’s business, I’m also more likely to buy it, because I know she and her family will benefit from it.
It’s a cozy duster, but also light enough to go into spring, which I find appealing. I paired it with a pair of my favorite non maternity jeans from Old Navy. I LOVE their Rockstar line, and they’re really reasonably priced. One of my best friends got me this scarf for Christmas, but I’m linking a couple that are similar ( here and here). And you may get tired of seeing these booties (or not since they’re so cute), but they’ll literally pair with anything as well!
Decluttering/organizing is one of our MAJOR 2017 goals. What’s one of yours? Have you been sticking to it for the first couple weeks of the new year? With the addition of a new baby, we have to stick to all of our goals, though, so don’t worry…you’ll definitely hear me talk about all of them: spiritual, financial, career, fitness, and family goals…we’re pretty ambitious!
