Mommy + Me Matching Floral Capes + Faux Leather

Who doesn’t love a monochrome outfit? It’s simple, chic, and looks put together on the fly! I’ve been an avid shopper of P and the Lion for a while now, and her designs never fail to impress me. The mommy and me pieces she makes are perfect.

Hallen’s leotard, cape, and little faux leather shorties are from P and the Lion. I’m wearing some faux leather moto maternity leggings from Preggo Leggings. I had been wanting a pair of faux leather pants for a while now to feel fierce. Every time I saw someone in them, I just thought, “wow! She looks like she’s going to slay the day!” Well, I didn’t exactly feel like that haha, but they are fun to wear. This specific pair runs a little big. I’m in a small, and feel like if they made an XS or even an XXS, that’d be my size.

I also did NOT realize how pregnant I was! I’m almost full term. I knew I was mostly belly, but when I saw these photos, I thought, “WHOA!! Belly!” I’m at the point where everyone is telling me, ” you must be due soon.” I want to roll my eyes, and say something mean, but I turn my polite words on, and bite my tongue. I do love being pregnant, except the last 6 or so weeks. They’re really tough. My ribs become so uncomfortably inflamed, and my hips feel like a 90 year old’s. And my mindset almost turns anything you say about my tummy into something negative, because of the state of my body. I’m trying to work on that though! Being pregnant is such a miracle, and a beautiful thing, but when you talk to me, just don’t say much about the size, look, or angle of my belly! 😛

I’ll have an upcoming post about all of my favorite pregnancy things to keep me comfortable. But, if you’re in your third trimester, and you’re looking for something RIGHT NOW, go and buy yourself a Snoogle body pillow. It’s heavenly.
